Voices and soundscapes give a deeper layer of context than we think - the background sounds, the pauses in our speech. As a medium, it’s super interesting. We wanted to create an ephemeral space where people can tap into each other’s soundscapes in a bite by bite basis, kind of like a voicemail, with a little less specificity and a little more sensorial input.
Core Interactions: Leave a voice note, listen to a voice note
The dream version: A physical interaction - you can listen to the voice note through your google home or by pressing a button in your space or in a public space. It somehow feels seamless
Analogies & inspirations: Voicemail, voice notes, voice messages, fortune cookie, message in a bottle, snail mail, post secrets, podcasts
Constraints: Recordings will be stored until a certain time and then erased, can only be up to x seconds long
