Summary of the hack

Nov 21st 9am - Nov 22nd 4pm, 2020

Participants: Yinka, Omar, Tracy, Lisa

This is the first of hopefully many hackathons that we will do together! I am so so excited for the evolution of this and so proud of how many others we were able to inspire with this project.

Defining our problem space

We each came together to write down a bunch of ideas, solutions, and problem spaces that interested us.

We hung out for a bit and came to a consensus on which problem space we wanted to tackle for this first hackathon. We chose something that was wide enough to play with but also narrow enough to provide structure. We also all agreed that this is something we personally find interesting.

Hack kick off!

The hack starts with ideation! We rapidly went through a bunch of ideas and voted on our favourite theme: a choose your own adventure app that made suggestions for what you could do in a day.

Prototype, Test, Build

Tracy and I actually got a chance to build a paper prototype and try out some of prompts. Results: IT'S FUN! (We might be a bit biased but...)

We quickly moved to Figma to start the actual build phase, zoning in on a few important points.
